2008 POOL AND SPA CLOSING RATES:
If you will be closing down your pool, Dolphin Pool & Spa can help! Simply fill out the information on the following form, and we will get right back with you.
*NOTE: All residential closings require pre-payment. Closings will not be performed unless payment has been received in full. (Credit Cards will be charged the day of opening.)

Included in closings:
- Removal of handrails and ladders.
- Blowing out of return lines, skimmer lines, heater, pump & filter.
- Removal of return fitting and installation of all return plugs after all water has been evacuated.
- Removal of pump plugs, filter plugs and pressure guages.
- Antifreeze solution will be added to skimmer lines and filter body.
Customer responsibilities for closings:
- Clean pool. (Brush pool walls, vacuum pool bottom & back wash filter.
- Check to make sure that all chemical levels are in correct range & and adjust accordingly.
- The day before the closing, lower the pool water as follows:
- Safety mesh covers & bag covers: Lower water 1-4" below return face plates.
- Auto covers: Lower water 2" below skimmer face plates. *NOTE: A $75 service surcharge will be assessed if water level is not lowered upon our arrival.
- Once the water has been lowered, leave the pump running on the main drain with the filter in the recirculate position.
- Add winter chemical kit the day before closing after the water level has been adjusted.
- Please place all plugs, skimmer blow out tubes (blue), & mesh covers on pool deck next to stairs.
- Threaded plugs are required for plugging your returns. If you do not have enough they will be provided for an additional charge of $4.49 each.
- Blue skimmer blowouts are required. If you do not have them, they will be provided for an additional charge of $16.99 each.
- We DO NOT! remove pool lights. It is recommended by the manufacturer that they be left in for maximum longevity.
- Please check to make sure your outdoor outlets have power. The equipment we use close to your pool requires 120V AC.
